Valencia Fashion Week

XII VALENCIA FASHION WEEK 15, 16, 17, AND 18th FEBRUARY 2012

From Wednesday 15 to Saturday 18 February, the city of Valencia Is dressed with fashion designers of Valencia Fashion Week. The most important is that all activity is conducted within the Agora building which will include the official runway, the Zone D, the Zone Off, Valencia Culture Place, Dedal Showroom and solidarity parades on the fourth day.

The official schedule will be opened by the signature Gabriel Seguí with Virtues Langa creations in leather, closing run by Higinio Mateu. On supportive Saturday, we will have the star children design from Valencia: Rubio Kids by Hortensia Maeso in a parade at noon, and closing with the sophistication of Amparo Chord. This day will also feature the creator from Seville, Antonio Garcia. Tickets for Saturday´s parade will be offered for sale of 5 euros, and the benefits will go to different NGOs.

Remarkable names of the runway as Jaime Piquer, Ion Fiz, Alex Vidal, Siglo Cero or Encarnis Tomero will show their collections for autumn-winter 2012-13 with usual and new additions of design from Valencia and the rest of Spain. New features as Miguel Vizcaino, the Lebanese Assaad Awad, Eugenio Loarce with Moses Castañeyra, Bibian Blue or Juanma by el cuco.

The men´s fashion will come with the seal of Selim, from Somavilla, and Georgina Vendrell and in the Zone D more fashion men with VRL- Paco Varela and Lucía Ribes, accompanied on the billboard with the pool of young designers: Guillermo del Mar, Siemprevivas, Antonio Posadas and Eva Iszoro.

From other platforms of VFW such as Zone D, comes the winner of last year Dragomir Krasimirov, Cristina Piña arrives from Zone Off or the Valencian designer Alejandro Resta that debuted on Culture Place.

In this last area also will participate the Valencian, Paula Alcon, with his signature Rita Piruleta, followed by an action supported by different designers under the direction of Jose Zambrano (who will be also coordinating collections sales and author´s accessories of Dedal Showroom) , and the designer from Valladolid, Esther Noriega, with a solidarity action.

At night we could be able to see the proposals of the students from EASD Valencia in Zone Off, coordinated by the Tonuca Benlloch in OFF KAOS, the representatives of Fashion Schools in Poland and the most alternative side of Visa Knowing creations.

VFW completes its calendar with a series of parallel activities as usual, with its epicenter will be at the Fashion Square (Plaza de los Pinazo opposite El Corte Ingles), a scenario that brings together all the information on the catwalk (invitations, solidarity ticket, program, etc.).
