Zone D grants to VFW the more avant-garde, radical and freestyle prêt-à-porter creations. Its coordinator, Javier Calvo, discovers the designers and young firms that will define a trend on the official shows with names like Yiyí Gutz, Jose Zambrano, Luxoir or Aurelia Gil between others.
For this summer the proposals that we can see on the runway show couldn´t be more ecletic and attractive.
The lithuanian Asta Masiulyte used wild silks and overlappings in preppy dresses of romantic inspiration in rose colors and dusty garnets.
The candy sensation of the first love is the main theme of David Fidel´s original mixed collection. Victorian dyes and a lot of color in his offers.
Loolah took the calm elegance to VFW´s young show. Frivolous dresses, sometimes with volumes and the sublime hands of Ana and Neus in the production of knitted fabric items.
Deconstruction, cotton, swimwear and white mixed with fresh colors is what the valencian Rocío Alonso proposes in her mixed collection through her firm Lulúlucía.
Pei Cotz takes a risk presenting an adrogyne man, with jungle and African dyes, with transparencies and a few elaborated hats, sandals of esparto and purses with leather mixes.
The last edition winners, Retal Reciclaje Creativo, made use of their signs of identity. Volumes and overlappings in natural fabrics and print mixes.
Susana Escribano inspires herself in the countryside for a feminine and bucolic collection with folk style and offers us clothing suitable for a all-day-long wearing with comfort. Dusty colors and weighty fabrics to give elegance to a feminine shape.
