Models of international prestige like Ariadne Artiles, Jon Kortajarena, Janeta Samp, Alexandra Tretter, Miguel Iglesias, Rubén Cortada, Tania Onischenko, Madeleine Hjört, Vika Volkute o Antonio Navas have taken part among others in the recently finished Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, with the general coordination of Araceli Diaz as  event manager.

The participants in 2010 edition were Aurelia Gil, Rappido, Miss Bikini, Carlos Sanjuan, Dolores Cortés, Javier Larraínzar, Gabriel Croissier, Vanity Fair, Roser Muntané, Dos Mares, Gottex, Gemma Summertime, Núria González, Arcadio Domínguez, La Perla, Alida Domínguez, Antonio Sangoó, Eva Divine, Guillermina Baeza, Gonzales Underwear, Gideon Oberson, Calima, Devota & Lomba and the guest of this year, the south-african Dax Martin. In adition, it counted with the Laja y Picon and Nieves Barroso complements.

The sea philosophy and african airs have been the main concept for the artistic manager Josep Lozano, who with the choreographer Ana Ramírez and the techncal staff members Jose Morales and Amalia Riestra designed a fashion show, where the casting quality and the audiovisual effects were a proper support for the show that featured collections from canarian, national and international designers.

The show lighting came by hand of Maxi Gilbert, the music by DJ Martinho, the scenography of Sara Cortés Studio, the stilism of Benyat Yanci and the backstage of Grisel Fernández.

Between the side activities, we had a round table with the participation of the executive manager of Valencia Fashion Week, Alex Vidal, with the industry counselor of Gran Canaria’s council, Inés Jiménez, and the designers Javier Larraínzar and Modesto Lomba among others.
